Access to the shooting ground is from the B1051 between Elsenham and Thaxted. You cannot normally see (or hear) the ground from the road.

From the M11 or A120 follow signs to Stansted airport passenger terminal, turn right at the roundabout just before the terminal, then immediately left at the mini roundabout as you leave the airport. Follow this road to Elsenham and turn right onto the B1051.

From Elsenham there is a sign on the left after about 2.5 miles but this is not easy to spot when travelling in the opposite direction.

From Thaxted drive past the Whitehall conference centre on your left and about three quarters of a mile later take the farm road on the right near the top of a gentle hill.

Please bear in mind the farm track is (hardly suprisingly) narrow; it is also used by large farm vehicles so you must park in the Car Park and not on the track. Please do not park on cultivated land under any circumstances.
